[DUNGEON] The Institute of War

    Note: The bosses attacks and their looks are inspired by champions from League of Legends. This however in no way is copyright infridgement.
    All sprites are in realmofthemadgod/draw under the tag madebypac

    GETTING INTO THE DUNGEON:

    A new random event called the Lost Summoner can be spawned in the realm. This event has a 1/10 chance to open the Institute of War Portal. Institute of War Portal
    The portal lasts 30 seconds. Nothing happens inside of the dungeon until the portal closes.
    Once the portal has been closed. A random boss from the list of dungeon bosses is spawned. Once it is defeated, a portal to the Realm spawns.

    THE LOST SUMMONER EVENT:

    When spawned: "Finally, a Summoner has stumbled upon this realm!"
    While alive: "You pathetic creatures are doomed, a Lost Summoner still wanders the realm!"
    When killed: "IMPOSSIBLE! -killer-, you will pay for this soon!"

    He does not attack or move himself. All the attacks are done by the Summoners Orb

    Always invulnerable. (Not invincible, shots do not pass through.)

    Behavior:
    Spins around very close to the Lost Summoner. Is supposed to act as sort of an artifact for O1. Moves slowly at first, speed increases as Summoner's HP gets lower. Summons extra Orbs at 65000, 45000, 25000 and 5000 hp.

    Projectiles:

    Attack 1:

    • Projectile range and speed similar to Flying Brain attacks.
    • Fire rate is the same as Sprite God attacks
    • 35 damage
    • Shoots 8 shots around itself

    Attack 2:

    • Very fast long range projectiles.
    • Shoots these very frequently
    • Focuses the closest target
    • 3 shots
    • 5 damage
    • Slows

    Attack 3:

    • Short range slow boomerangs
    • Starts shooting these when Summoner is down to 50000 HP
    • Shoots them very frequently
    • 6 boomerangs around itself
    • 60 damage
    • Blinds

    Attack 4:

    • Slow long range shots
    • Shoots these rarely
    • 1 shot
    • Predicts the movements of the closest target
    • Pass through units
    • 250 damage
    • Stuns, blinds, slows

    Attack 5:

    • Speed and range similar to Cube Gods attacks
    • Shoots these as the same rate as a Ghost God
    • 3 shots
    • Shoots at a random target
    • Pass through obstacles
    • Pass through units
    • 125 damage
    • Armor breaks

    Once the Summoner is dead, the Orb goes into a somewhat of a rage stage for 5 seconds, shooting much faster and moving randomly. After that, it shoots 12 boomerangs around itself and disappears.

    • Tier 8-11 weapons
    • Tier 8-12 armor
    • Tier 4-5 abilities
    • Tier 4-5 rings
    • Stat increase potions
    • Wine Cellar Incantation
    • Interdimensional Robes

    Interdimensional Robes:

    "This mysterious robe seems to be slowly evaporating from this dimension. Even so, you feel a surge of power once you put it on."

    Fame Bonus: 5%
    Why is this item unique and balanced? It is a purely offensive robe, as it gives almost no defensive stats. It can make the gameplay more unique as it would punish you extremely for tanking shots.

    THE DUNGEON:

    All the tiles used are in Nillys map editor. The walls are wine wall something. In the place where a Sarcophagus is placed, the boss would spawn instead. There are no walls or objects inside of the arena, you have to dodge everything instead of hiding.

    1. Tranlor the Tiny Warlock

    Name: Tranlor the Tiny Warlock
    HP: 125000
    DEF: 35
    EXP: 5000
    Level 20 Quest
    Immune to Stasis
    Counts Towards God Kills

    Behavior:
    (projectiles at the end of behavior)
    PHASE 1: Beginning
    While Tranlor has more than 100000 hp, he uses only his basic attacks . Is invulnerable for 3 seconds, then has a 2 second period where he is vulnerable. This stage of this fight is very easy. Does not move during the first phase.
    When he spawns: <Tranlor>: This is going to be a short battle!

    PHASE 2: Warmup
    Until he gets down to 70000 hp, he uses both auto attacks and piercing strikes. During this phase, Tranlor tries to maintain distance from players. Invulnerability switches on and off every second.
    Start of phase 2: <Tranlor>: You are getting annoying, back off!

    PHASE 3: Dodgy time
    Once he reaches 70000 hp, he goes back into the center. He uses his phase 3 taunt and starts shooting dark matter bombs. Does not move during this phase, phase lasts until he reaches 40000. Is always vulnerable, however, is armored and cannot be stunned during this phase.
    Phase 3 taunt: <Tranlor>: My temper is short, die!

    PHASE 4: Pre-rage
    Until he gets down to 20000, he starts shooting basic attacks, piercing strikes, event horizons and shocking bursts. The attacks that were used in previous phases are used much more often than before. Tries to maintain distance during this stage. Is invulnerable for 4 seconds, then vulnerable for one.
    Start of phase 4: <Tranlor>: Gah, enough! Get out of here!

    PHASE 5: RAGE!
    Starts chasing players instead of running away. Uses all of his attacks, including dark matter bombs. Is vulnerable for one second every 3 seconds. Cannot be disabled by anything.
    Start of rage 5: <Tranlor>: YOU SHALL LISTEN TO THE MASTER WARLOCK!

    Projectiles:

    Basic attack:

    • Acts like the 1st Shatters boss attacks, except they are not shot as often.
    • 80 damage
    • Are smaller than 100% of normal sprite size.

    Piercing strike:

    • Range and speed similar to Skull Shrine's attacks.
    • Shoots 8 around himself or sometimes 3 at the closest player (gap between projectiles similar to Ent God's)
    • 125 damage
    • Pierce through units

    Dark matter bombs:

    • Act as medusa bombs.
    • Before shooting one, Veigar starts glowing purple for 1s
    • When shooting it, yells "You're doomed now!"
    • 350 damage
    • Shoots them more rarely than medusa shoots her bombs.
    • SHOOTS THEM MUCH MORE OFTEN AND FASTER DURING PHASE 3.

    Event horizon:

    • 15 damage
    • Stuns and slows
    • Shoots 8 of them at a random player.

    Shocking burst:

    Unlike normal Wizard spells, this spell instead of using a spellbomb, throws a medusa-like bomb where the player points. Kind of like an assasin poison which only deals one tick.
    Damage: 1250. Armor percing.
    Mana cost: 150

    Fame bonus: 5%
    Why is this item unique and balanced? It acts unlike any other Wizard spell in the game, gives more unique playstyle for Wizards when using this.

    ATM you should nerf the robe, its OP.
    Esben robe gives this: +100 MP, +5 SPD, +10 DEF, +8 ATT

    So you should remove the dex or atk, and probably nerf the def a bit too.
    Man this robe + UH spell would cause cancer.

    Also after you beat the dungeon, just add a realm portal, using a quake causes lag which no one wants.

    As for the boss, the orb should be buffed, or you should add more than 1 orb (because the boss itself is literally a loot chest).

    Lastly, Attack 4: 500 damage shot!?!?! NTY. At most 300 damage, since its does Stuns, blinds, slows.

    This looks pretty cool, and I like it. I just want to know what Oryx will say when it spawns, when it is still alive, and when it dies. Overall +1 Great sprites and awesome concept of having just an artifact attacking instead of the actual boss. :D

    Nerfed the shot, added some extra behavior for the Summoner, added Oryx taunts and changed the robe.

  • Nice but +5 def is EXTREMELY low and why the 3% fame bonus? It should be 5-6%
    I would suggest: +100 mp,+10 wis, +10 dex or atk, and -10 vit
    Its balanced as vit plays a huge role in NR.

  • @Pac If you check some of the admin's words, they do not want things themed to other games so there is not even more copyright infringement. No hate, but I doubt they would ever implement this. I love the style, the sprites are good, it is pretty well thought out, but simply because it is related to a trademarked game, there is little to no chance that this will be seen in NR.
