Prism Problems: Tale of the Realmers Ch.XI ⌠Dr.Why⌡
Chapter XI: Dr.Why
Characters: Pringle, Nilly, Ergona, Alice, DrWhen, Moloch
First person perspective: Pringle
We had decided to break apart into two groups. Nilly, Ergona, and Alice all came with me. Exiting the hotel wasn't as hard as we thought, as over night the molten lava had hardened to the same rock we know and love across the mountains. Something was definately off, though, as no gods were in sight. No players, even. It was almost as if they ran out in a haste, it seemed. Alice suggested that they likely left for a good reason, and that we should make our way out of the mountains. Nilly didn't think it was that big of a deal though, so we played rock paper scissors to see if we leave or stay. Nilly picked scissors counter to Alice's paper right before Ergona ruined the tie breaker by throwing in rock and demanding us to give him all of our potions.
After forking up all I could, we decided to travel deeper into the mountains. The day seemed to go on forever, and there were no gods that we could use as food. All of the lava cooled and there was strange gusts of wind blowing past the mountain side. I decided to do what I do best: absolutely nothing. Wasn't really by choice either. for some reason I couldn't move, and Nilly kept trying to teleport me everywhere hoping that he could help. I unfroze, but seconds after Alice froze instead. I looked up on the top of the mountain to our left, and there sat a mysterious figure. It was fighting the strange visitor we saw long before that guided us here to begin with. Tables and chairs fell from the top of the broken castle side in the mountain.
The mysterious figure called out and demanded somebody named Moloch, who I assume was our guide, to give up. Moloch clenched on to his sword and charged in, brandishing his sword left and right hoping for a lucky hit on the strange man. Nilly teleported us to the top and demanded us to attempt to end the battle. He shouted to Moloch and the figure, who's name apparently was DrWhen, to stop being idiots and end their fight. DrWhen turned towards Nilly and launched with his shield. Nilly quickly teleported to the side, and used his shield to reflect the attack back at DrWhen. He teleported aswell, and Ergona quickly caught on that they are admins as well. He equiped his glowing black seal, and rushed at DrWhen into an attack.
He blasted his seal and phased right through it, turning around and slashing quickly at DrWhen. Moloch saw an oppertunity and rushed in with a shine from his helmet. DrWhen already knew this attack was coming, and launched Moloch into a table, taking no damage from the attack. Nilly saw that this wasn't going to work and he quickly teleported us and Moloch off of the flaming tower. We opened our eyes to see Nilly had teleported us to a very similar tower like the one we saw them fight in. Moloch's arm had broke upon the impact, and he couldn't stand up: much less fight. Nilly didn't come with us when he used his teleport, I wondered if he was alright.
Despite the tower being destroyed, it still had a brick roof to provide cover from the soft rain above. We stared off into the purple-orange sky as the sun slowly set off in the distance. We weren't freezing anymore, so we could tell the fight had definately ended. Nilly still didn't come back during the afternoon, and we decided to set up camp. Moloch told us that he isn't sure what to do, and that if we want to make more progress we'll have to meet his brother. Apparently he's a very skilled Necromancer and he can heal his arm completely, and may know how to defeat DrWhen, the knight of time.
No gods spawned from that day on in the mountains. They had all fled or perished in the battle of the admins, and so had the players that fought there as well. I forgot about our second group in the mountains, and I wondered if they were OK out in the distance. They're probably also confused of the lack of gods, or who knows: they may of found some. The sun still had not set, but we didn't want to go out into the rain and get our armor wet. Alice and Ergona talked to Moloch and he filled them in about his Brother, and that he was located in the freezing tundra past the mountains. My eyes began to close on the world, seeing the jaring yet soothing sky, boasting its neon colors into the darkness behind us.
